JUNIOR CANADIAN BRITISH PARLIAMENTARY CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Junior Canadian British Parliamentary Championships is the recognized British Parliamentary championship tournament for junior high school debaters. Competitors are selected by their provincial debating associations, typically through a provincial championship. The Championships serve as Canada's exclusive qualifier for the International Competition for Young Debaters (rotates between Oxford and Cambridge).

The tournament was founded in 2005 by Chris George of Lower Canada College, in collaboration with debate associations and schools across Canada. Originally launched as the North American Championships (NorAms), it became the Oxford Cup in 2009 to reflect its role as a qualifier for Oxford. In 2018, with expanded invitations from Cambridge and eligibility for junior high students, it was renamed the Canadian British Parliamentary Championships. The Under-15/Junior category was established in 2018.
