The Willis S. McLeese Award is named in recognition of the immense contribution Mr. McLeese has made to Canadian debating. It may be presented annually by each organizational member of the Canadian Student Debating Federation ("CSDF") to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to debate within their jurisdiction. The award may also be presented by the CSDF Board of Directors and the McLeese Foundation to recognize exceptional service to debating at the national level.
